Need help? Our specially trained staff provide treatment to children age 3 to 18 for a wide range of issues including:

  • Behavior problems at home and/or school
  • Difficulty adjusting to divorce
  • Attention Deficit Disorders (ADD/ADHD)
  • Grief and loss
  • Depression and suicidal thoughts
  • Mood swings
  • Unhealthy relationships with friends and/or family members
  • Poor anger management and impulse control

We Have Two Ways to Serve You

Services provided at the Mental Health Center

First time appointments are scheduled by calling our Access Department at 256-255-1020, or submitting our quick and easy online form.

At the first appointment, a therapist will complete a thorough symptom evaluation and history.

At the conclusion of the evaluation, the therapist will provide recommendations for treatment. This may include therapy, case management, or a referral to the psychiatrist.

Please note that we are unable to provide serivices for child abuse investigaations or to provide custody recommendations.

Therapists are available see children and teens in school for Children in many Cullman County and all Cullman City Schools.

New! Partners in Parenting Class

We now offer a 10 session parenting class. The class focuses on concepts important for effective parenting. Topics discussed will include communication skills, guidance techniques, and positive discipline strategies.
